Quality Control
KTCI has a well-established
quality assurance program that has proven to be effective. We adopted our
current procedures in 2000. These procedures were developed from
guidelines published by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE)
in a section on Professional Engineers in Private Practice.
The quality control program
provides a review of all aspects of your project at various milestones
throughout its design execution. A project review team consisting of
selected senior architects, engineers and/or support personnel, along with
the project design team, performs reviews.
Quality control tasks are
identified separately and are monitored within the accounting system.
These include seven distinct quality control review subtasks, from concept
to construction.
1Q.
Conceptual design review by the project
review team.
2Q. Preliminary design review
by the project review team.
3Q. Drawing review by the
design team.
4Q. Final design review by the
project review team.
5Q. Rough draft specifications
review by specifications department.
6Q. Final plans and
specifications review by quality review department.
7Q. Review of documented field
changes by the design team.
KTCI is committed to producing high
quality documents for our clients. The quality control process assists us
in producing documents that reflect good engineering judgment.
